Website access and server logs

When you visit this website, technical data required to deliver the service may be processed automatically. If you contact us through the contact form, we process the information you submit solely to handle your request and any follow-up communication. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and language preference to send updates from Casa Life e.V. Newsletter processing is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting info@casalife.org.

Member area, uploads, forum, and security

The website uses technically necessary cookies or comparable storage mechanisms, especially to remember the selected language and to maintain authenticated sessions in the protected area. For registered users, login credentials are checked securely and passwords are not stored in plain text. Registered users may upload PDF files (field reports, theme attachments), participate in the forum, and exchange direct messages; this content is stored on our servers and is accessible only to authorised users according to their role. Processing takes place to provide the platform and secure access to member functions under Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR as well as, where applicable, Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

Recipients, storage period, and contact

Personal data is disclosed only where necessary for website operation, email delivery, or legal compliance. We use Strato AG (Germany) as our hosting and email service provider; Strato acts as a processor under GDPR and is bound by a data processing agreement.
